Retired!

I'm officially retired from Great River Regional Library. It was a great 27 years! Now I'm finally getting caught up on my reading. The list is long. Iris Murdoch, Sylvia Townsend Warner, Haruki Murakami, John Updike, Margaret Atwood, Maile Meloy, I. B. Singer, Flannery O'Connor and so many more. My focus is primarily on the art of the short story.

St. Cloud, MN is a great community to live and work in. It is also a great place to retire if you are at all interested in the outdoors and/or cultural activities. The three colleges in the area offer outstanding arts opportunities in music, theater and dance. For example, there's an art crawl tonight downtown, then off to hear the VB GB jazz trio at the Local Blend. Can it get any better than this?
